Considerations & Trade-offs
- Requires either the supplied AC adapter or three AAA batteries, so portability depends on having a power source or spare batteries on hand.
- The 1500 grain capacity is well suited to powder measurement, but it is still a dedicated reloading scale rather than a general-purpose weighing tool.
- Accuracy is stated at +/- 1/10 grain over the full capacity, which is precise for reloading but still calls for careful setup and handling.
- The removable dust cover helps protect the unit when stored, but it also adds one more piece to manage during bench use.
