MAUSER vz24

Overview

The Mauser vz. 24 is a bolt-action rifle developed by the Czechoslovakian firm Zbrojovka Brno in the 1920s and produced from 1925 until 1942. It was a successful and high-quality export rifle for many countries, including Romania, Yugoslavia, and China, and was chambered primarily in 8mm Mauser. Following the German occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1939, Germany continued production for its own forces as the G24(t) until production switched to the Karabiner 98k in 1942.
