Overview
Built for anglers who want a soft-bodied swimbait that can be worked in open water or around vegetation and other cover, this 5-inch version offers a more compact, lighter profile than the original. Its improved MAG-HOLD SYSTEM uses a secured internal magnet to keep the treble hook positioned along the belly, helping maintain a cleaner, more natural look while reducing snagging potential. With its Ghost Shad Solid color and 3/4 oz weight, it is suited to situations where a smaller swimbait profile is preferred without giving up the same core design features.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 5" size and 3/4 oz weight make this a smaller, lighter version of the original Magdraft, so it may not suit anglers looking for a larger-profile swimbait.
- The MAG-HOLD SYSTEM keeps the treble hook along the belly for a cleaner profile, but that hook position is part of the bait’s design and may not be ideal for every presentation.
- It is described for both open water and areas with vegetation or other cover, but any swimbait used around cover can still require careful handling to avoid snags.
- Color is limited here to Ghost Shad Solid, so anglers wanting multiple color options will need to look elsewhere.
