Overview
Built for anglers who need a soft-bodied swimbait that can work both open water and areas with vegetation or other cover, this compact version keeps the same core concept in a smaller, lighter profile. Its improved MAG-HOLD SYSTEM uses a secured internal magnet to keep the treble hook positioned along the belly, helping maintain a cleaner, more natural look in the water. At 5 inches and 3/4 ounce, it offers a practical option when a reduced-size presentation is preferred without changing the bait’s original action-focused design. The Pink Shiner color adds another presentation choice for targeting fish in varied conditions.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 5" size and 3/4 oz weight make this a smaller, lighter option than the original Magdraft, so it may not suit anglers looking for a larger-profile swimbait.
- The MAG-HOLD SYSTEM keeps the treble hook tucked along the belly for a cleaner profile, but that setup is still a trade-off if you prefer a more exposed hook arrangement.
- It is described as suitable for open water and for fishing tight to vegetation or other cover, but any swimbait used around cover can still require careful handling to avoid snags.
- Color is limited here to Pink Shiner, so matching local conditions depends on whether that specific finish fits your presentation needs.
