Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 300 lb. weight capacity may be sufficient for many users, but it is a fixed limit to account for when matching the cot to the intended sleeper and gear load.
- The easy-folding steel frame is built for quick setup and takedown, but a steel-frame cot is typically less compact than minimalist sleep options when packed.
- Side pockets add convenient storage, though they also suggest the cot is best used with a little extra space around it rather than in a very tight shelter layout.
- The included carry bag helps with transport, but the cot is still a larger item to move and store than a sleeping pad or low-profile camp bed.
