Overview
Built for hunters who want a straightforward way to record game weight, this dial scale is suited to whitetails and other big game after the harvest. Its large, easy-to-read markings and 2-lb. increments make the reading process simple, while the 550-lb. capacity covers a wide range of field use. The scale also resets to zero after attaching a gambrel or other accessory, and the steel hooks are made for connecting to hoists, gambrels, and similar gear. A steel case with a plastic cover adds durability without adding unnecessary complexity.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Measures in 2-lb. increments, so it’s suited to practical field weighing rather than fine-grain measurements.
- 550-lb. capacity covers whitetails and other big game, but it may not suit uses beyond that range.
- The dial format depends on clear visibility for easy reading, which can be less convenient in low-light or awkward hanging positions.
- It includes steel hooks and a steel case with plastic cover, but no additional hoist or gambrel accessories are listed as included.
