Overview
This footprint is made to add a protective layer under a compatible three-person tent, helping shield the floor from rocks, gravel, and other rough ground. It is designed to connect securely at the tent’s perimeter points and pack neatly into the included drawstring stuff sack when it is time to move on. The abrasion-resistant 75D PU polyester construction and 2000mm waterproof rating make it a practical accessory for backpacking setups where ground protection matters.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Designed specifically for the Hornet 3-person tent, so it is not a universal footprint for other shelters.
- Adds another item to carry and pack, even though it does stow in the included drawstring stuff sack.
- Its role is protective rather than standalone; it is meant to go under the tent floor, not replace the tent itself.
- The 2000mm waterproof rating and abrasion-resistant 75D PU polyester describe the footprint, but they do not eliminate the need to choose campsite ground carefully.
