Overview
Developed by aerospace engineer Frank DeSomma in 2002, the Patriot Ordnance Factory (POF-USA) P415 was created to resolve the carbon fouling and timing issues inherent in direct impingement AR-15s. By introducing a regulated short-stroke gas piston system, the P415 quickly revolutionized the premium AR market.
