Overview
This soft rifle case is built for carrying and protecting a rifle during transport to and from the range, truck, or camp. It uses soft close-cell padding, a full-length zipper with pull, and a brushed tricot inner lining designed to help reduce contact with the firearm’s finish. The durable nylon outer shell is water-resistant, and the floating design adds another practical detail for wet conditions. At 40 inches, it offers a straightforward, no-frills option for hunters and shooters who want simple storage and basic protection.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Soft case construction offers lighter protection than a hard case, so it is best suited to transport and storage rather than heavy-impact use.
- The 40" size is fixed, so fit depends on the rifle’s overall length and any mounted accessories.
- The water-resistant outer shell can help with moisture exposure, but it is not the same as a fully waterproof case.
- The full-length zipper provides easy access, but it is also a single closure point to keep in mind when packing and handling.
