Considerations & Trade-offs
- This is a lead-shot upland load, so it is intended for upland use rather than non-lead applications where those restrictions apply.
- The 2-3/4 in shell length may not fit every 12 gauge setup or preference, so chamber compatibility should be confirmed before use.
- At 1 1/4 oz and 1525 fps, this is a relatively energetic load that may be more than some shooters want for lighter upland situations.
- Shot size 5 offers a middle-ground patterning choice, but it may not be ideal if your hunting conditions call for a finer or larger pellet size.
