Overview
Built for situations where a small, shallow-running crankbait makes the most sense, this compact lure is aimed at trout and panfish when a larger profile is not the right fit. Its balsa body and tight swimming action are designed to present a fleeing-bait look, while the shallow lip keeps it working just a few feet down. Hand-tuned and tank-tested, it is intended to run true on light tackle and comes rigged with two #12 VMC black-nickel treble hooks.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Designed as a shallow runner, so it’s not intended for deeper water presentations.
- The compact 1 1/2 in. profile and 1/8 oz. weight are tailored to light-tackle use, which may limit versatility in heavier setups.
- Best suited to trout and panfish scenarios where a smaller bait profile is needed; it may be less relevant when larger crankbait profiles are preferred.
- Runs just 3–6 ft., so anglers looking to cover deeper structure will need a different option.
Suggested Comparisons

- Small-profile hard baits
