Considerations & Trade-offs
- Built around a baitfish profile and wounded-minnow action, so it is designed for a specific presentation rather than a do-everything lure.
- It is described as slightly heavier for its size, which helps casting but may be a consideration if you prefer a lighter-feeling crankbait.
- The lure is effective when casted or trolled and at both fast and slow speeds, but results will still depend on matching the retrieve to conditions and target behavior.
- Premium balsa wood construction gives it a classic feel, but that also means it may not suit anglers looking for a more rugged, all-purpose hardbait style.
