Rearden FHD Features The Rearden FHD is a suppressor-ready flash hider manufactured from 17-4 PH H900 stainless steel and threaded at 1/2x28 with a .375 bore square shoulder design engineered for direct compatibility with Atlas Atlas XL and Plan B suppressor mounting systems for shooters who want a muzzle device that delivers flash suppression and a reliable suppressor interface in a single compact package. This updated version features enlarged rear wrench flats that simplify installation and ensure proper torque engagement at the recommended 15-25 ft-lb range without risk of rounding or damaging the muzzle device during tightening. The Atlas XL adapter produces no overrun for the most compact suppressor package possible and an alignment rod should always be used to ensure the entire system is properly set up before use. The black nitride 17-4 PH H900 1/2x28 square shoulder flash hider achieves approximately 67 HRC surface hardness through the nitride treatment process providing superior wear resistance corrosion protection and a consistent black appearance through repeated suppressor attachment cycles and sustained heat exposure. Shims are not included and may be required for proper timing depending on barrel configuration particularly on barrels where the manufacturer did not provide a thread relief and all surfaces should be cleaned with the muzzle device torqued and Rocksett-applied to the barrel before use.
