Rearden FHD Features The Rearden FHD is a suppressor-compatible muzzle device manufactured from 17-4 PH H900 stainless steel and threaded at 14x1 LH with a face-mount design engineered to aid alignment on platforms such as AK-pattern rifles where barrel concentricity can vary and consistent suppressor-to-bore alignment is critical. The 14x1 LH thread pitch covers AK-pattern and other platforms commonly threaded at this specification and the FHD s Atlas Atlas XL and Plan B compatibility gives the shooter broad suppressor mounting flexibility from a single muzzle device. Enlarged rear wrench flats simplify installation and ensure proper torque engagement at the recommended 15-25 ft-lb range without risk of rounding or damaging the muzzle device during tightening. The black nitride 17-4 PH H900 face mount muzzle device achieves approximately 67 HRC surface hardness through the nitride treatment process providing superior wear resistance corrosion protection and a consistent black appearance through repeated suppressor attachment cycles and sustained heat exposure. The FHD measures 1.723 overall with no Atlas XL adapter overrun keeping the overall suppressor package as compact as possible on AK-pattern and compatible hosts.
