Rearden FHD Features The Rearden FHD is a suppressor-compatible muzzle device manufactured from 17-4 PH stainless steel in the H900 heat treated condition providing the strength and surface hardness needed for consistent Atlas-style suppressor interface performance across sustained use on any compatible platform. The .578x28 thread pitch with .48 bore is purpose-matched to pistol-caliber carbine and suppressor-host platforms commonly threaded at this pitch and the FHD s design supports compatibility with Atlas Atlas XL and Plan B mounting systems for broad suppressor flexibility from a single muzzle device. Enlarged rear wrench flats simplify installation and ensure proper torque engagement at the recommended 15-25 ft-lb range without risk of rounding or damaging the muzzle device during tightening. The black nitride 17-4 PH suppressor muzzle device achieves approximately 67 HRC surface hardness through the nitride treatment process providing superior wear resistance corrosion protection and a consistent black appearance through repeated suppressor attachment cycles and sustained heat exposure. The FHD measures 1.723 overall and adds approximately 0.91 to 1.198 of length depending on thread configuration and the Atlas XL adapter overrun is zero keeping the overall suppressor package as compact as possible.
