Rearden PRS Features The Rearden PRS is a suppressor-ready muzzle brake manufactured from 17-4 PH stainless steel in the H900 heat treated condition providing the strength and hardness needed for consistent Atlas-style suppressor interface performance across sustained use on compatible rifle platforms. The 1/2x28 thread pitch with .280 bore size covers the most common centerfire pistol and rifle thread pitch making the PRS a versatile suppressor-ready muzzle brake for a wide range of hosts running Atlas Atlas XL and Plan B compatible suppressor systems. An Atlas adapter overrun of approximately 1.050 applies with standard Atlas adapters while the Atlas XL adapter produces no overrun for the most compact suppressor package possible. The black nitride 1/2x28 suppressor-ready muzzle brake is finished with a nitride surface treatment that delivers superior hardness corrosion resistance and a consistent black appearance that holds up to sustained heat cycles and repeated suppressor attachment and detachment cycles without degradation. Recommended installation torque of approximately 30 ft-lbs on the muzzle brake and 10 ft-lbs on the suppressor ensures proper engagement and consistent suppressor interface performance and shims are not included and may be required for proper timing depending on barrel configuration.
