Rearden SPB Features The Rearden SPB is a suppressor-ready muzzle brake manufactured from 17-4 PH H900 stainless steel and threaded at 1/2x28 with a .280 bore size engineered for direct compatibility with Atlas Atlas XL and Plan B suppressor mounting systems for shooters who want effective recoil reduction and a reliable suppressor interface from a single muzzle device. The 1/2x28 thread pitch and .280 bore cover the most common centerfire pistol and rifle thread pitch making the SPB a versatile suppressor-ready muzzle brake for a wide range of compatible hosts. The Atlas XL adapter produces no overrun for the most compact suppressor package possible while a standard Atlas adapter adds approximately 1.050 of overrun for shooters running the standard Atlas configuration. The black nitride 17-4 PH H900 1/2x28 suppressor-ready muzzle brake achieves approximately 67 HRC surface hardness through the nitride treatment process providing superior wear resistance corrosion protection and a consistent black appearance through repeated suppressor attachment cycles and sustained heat exposure. Enlarged rear wrench flats ensure proper torque engagement during installation without risk of damaging the muzzle device and an alignment rod should always be used to verify the entire system is properly set up before use. All surfaces should be cleaned with the muzzle device torqued and Rocksett-applied to the barrel and shooters should note that use on Q-brand suppressors voids the Q warranty.
