Overview
The Remington Model 700 XCR II (Xtreme Conditions Rifle), introduced around 2010, was designed as a highly durable, corrosion-resistant hunting rifle, building on the 2005 XCR platform. It featured stainless steel construction, a matte black TriNyte(R) corrosion control coating, Hogue overmolded stock panels, and the adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger system, designed specifically for harsh, wet environments.
