Overview
Built for turkey hunting, this 12 gauge load is set up for hunters who want a 3-1/2 inch shotshell with a 2 oz lead shot charge and a listed muzzle velocity of 1300 fps. Considerations & Trade-offs
- This is a 3-1/2 inch 12 gauge load, so it requires a shotgun chambered for that length; it is not a fit for shorter chambers.
- The 2 oz lead shot charge and 1300 fps velocity are set up for turkey hunting, which may be more load than needed for lighter game or general-purpose use.
- The package contains 10 rounds, so it is a relatively small box for hunters who want extra practice or multiple outings.
- The product description emphasizes a lower-cost alternative to copper-plated or buffered loads, which suggests a trade-off versus those premium shot types.
