Considerations & Trade-offs
- This is a 20-round box, so it may be better suited to planned hunting use than high-volume range sessions.
- The .45-70 Government chambering and 405-grain soft point load are geared toward large game, so it is not a general-purpose option.
- At 1330 fps and 1590 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, it reflects a traditional hunting load rather than a flatter-shooting, lighter-recoiling choice.
- Brass casing is listed, but the product details do not specify reloadability or other brass-related performance characteristics.
