Overview
The Remington Sportsman 12 Pump was a budget-friendly 12-gauge shotgun produced from 1984 to December 1986. It was essentially a plain-finish version of the famous Remington Model 870, built with cost-saving satin hardwood stocks and simple impressed checkering. Remington marketed it to budget-conscious hunters through department and discount stores before discontinuing it right before launching the 870 Express line.
