Overview
Built for hunters moving through snake country and rough, off-trail cover, this tall boot combines Snake Guard fabric with waterproof construction for protection in demanding conditions. The side-zip design makes it easier to get on and off without dealing with laces, while the moisture-wicking mesh lining helps manage sweat and water vapor during long days afield. An EnergyBed insole adds memory foam comfort and support, and the rubber outsole is designed for traction across varied ground. It’s a practical choice for turkey country, brushy edges, and other places where coverage, convenience, and all-day wear matter.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 17" height adds protection, but it also makes these boots more substantial than lower-cut options.
- The side-zip design is convenient for on/off, though it still uses a zipper rather than a fully lace-adjustable fit.
- Waterproof construction and a moisture-wicking lining help manage wet conditions, but they do not eliminate the need to dry the boots after heavy use.
- Built for rough cover and snake country, these boots may feel more specialized than general-purpose hunting footwear.
