Overview

This rifle is in very good condition for its age. The original wood stock remains solid and attractive with only minimal handling marks and light scratches consistent with careful use over the years. The metal surfaces retain a strong amount of their original bluing, giving the rifle an excellent overall appearance. The bore is clean with well-defined rifling, and the rifle has clearly been maintained with care. The straight-pull bolt operates smoothly and locks up properly, the safety functions as designed, and the rifle feeds, chambers, extracts, and ejects correctly. This rifle shows honest age and character while remaining mechanically sound and visually appealing.
