The Ruger Harrier delivers enhanced ergonomics and modern features in a reliable, mil-spec AR-15 platform. Free-float handguard, quality furniture, and proven performance combine to create a versatile rifle that's equally at home on the range or in the field. The slim profile free-float handguard provides enhanced ergonomics without unnecessary bulk. Picatinny rail sections at the front and rear of the 12:00 position give you flexible optics and accessory mounting, while Magpul M-LOK slots at the 3:00, 6:00, and 9:00 positions (plus 8 intermediate slots on the muzzle end) let you customize your setup without adding weight. QD sling sockets on both sides make transitioning quick and easy. The 16.1" government profile barrel features a nitride finish for corrosion resistance and enhanced durability, along with 6-groove 1:8" twist rifling that stabilizes a wide range of projectiles. The carbine-length gas system delivers reliable cycling, while the 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle comes fitted with an A2 flash hider that can be swapped for your preferred muzzle device. Upper and lower receivers are machined to mil-spec dimensions from 7075 forgings and Type III hard coat anodized for maximum durability.
