Overview
Introduced on October 6, 2016, the Ruger LCP II is an upgraded, slightly larger evolution of the original 2008 Lightweight Compact Pistol (LCP), featuring a crisper single-action trigger, last-round slide hold-open, and more aggressive grip texturing. It was designed to address user feedback regarding the original's heavy DAO trigger and lack of a slide lock.
