Overview

Ruger is excited to introduce eight new models to the already popular Hawkeye(R) Hunter line. Available in both satin blued and satin stainless finishes, these Hunter models come with a medium contour, 16.6" cold hammer-forged barrel and 5R rifling. Each model comes standard with a walnut stock, floor plate magazine, single-stage trigger, threaded barrel and scope rings color-matched to the action. These new Hawkeye Hunter models are sure to be a timeless addition to any hunter's collection.Non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor is among the most positive case extraction systems ever invented, and features a fixed blade-type ejector that positively ejects empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward. Three-position safety is easily accessible and allows the shooter to lock the bolt or to load and unload the rifle with the safety engaged. Free-floated, threaded barrel with factory-installed thread protector is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. Also includes: studs for mounting sling swivels.
