Overview

Log#6307 The Savage Model 1907 is a notable early 20th-century semi-automatic pistol, often mistakenly referred to as the "Model 1905" due to the "Nov. 21, 1905" patent date stamped on its slide. This date corresponds to the patent granted to designer Elbert Searle, which formed the basis for the pistol's design. The Model 1907 was produced by Savage Arms from 1907 to 1920 and was chambered in both .32 ACP and, starting in 1913, .380 ACP.
