Overview

Savage's 1911 series updates the classic design with the company's modern manufacturing techniques. The 1911 Gov't Style series features a forged stainless steel frame and slide that is paired with a dual recoil spring system and a GI-style guide rod. For improved reliability, the ejection port has been lowered and flared to eliminate feeding and ejection and is paired with nitride-coated titanium firing pin for long lasting durability. An ambidextrous safety is also included for left-handed and off-handed shooting.This model is chambered in 9mm Luger and features a stainless finish along with Hyena Brown G10 grips. Two 10-round magazines are included.
