Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 6.2 gear ratio and 39 in. line retrieve per crank favor a balanced, versatile setup, but they are not geared specifically for anglers who want either very slow, deliberate retrieves or maximum speed.
- At 9.9 oz., it is relatively light for its class, which helps with all-day use, though that also means buyers looking for a heavier-feeling reel may prefer a different option.
- The 24 lb. max drag provides solid range for general use, but anglers targeting consistently larger or more demanding fish may want to confirm it matches their intended application.
- Line capacity varies by line type and pound test, so setup choices will affect how much line you can spool and how the reel fits a given rig.
