Overview
Built for anglers who want a casting rod suited to serious on-the-water work, this model pairs a medium heavy power with a moderate action and a 7'4" length for a balanced feel in a range of fishing situations. Shimano’s DIAFLASH technology is included to help reduce twisting and add pulling power, while the EVA split-grip handle and custom Shimano reel seat are designed for a comfortable, secure setup. Titanium oxide guides and a carbon locking nut round out the build, giving the rod a refined, purpose-driven finish. It offers a premium feature set at a more accessible price point, though it is still a specialized rod intended for anglers who value a glass casting profile.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 7'4" length and medium-heavy power make this rod a more specialized choice, so it may feel less versatile than shorter or lighter-power options for some presentations.
- Moderate action offers a balanced bend, but it is not the fastest-loading option if you prefer a more immediate, crisp response.
- The EVA split-grip handle and custom Shimano reel seat are built for comfort and control, but the split-grip layout may not suit anglers who prefer a full-length handle feel.
- At this price point, the rod includes Shimano’s DIAFLASH technology and titanium oxide guides, but it is still positioned as a value-oriented model rather than a premium flagship build.
