Overview
Built for surface presentations that need attention fast, this lure is designed to disturb the topwater zone and draw strikes from bass. Its cupped face creates a pronounced surface commotion, while FLASH BOOST technology adds continuous flash even when the lure is paused. It can be worked with a walk-the-dog style using steady rod twitches or with sharper sweeps to produce larger pops, giving anglers flexibility in how they present it.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Topwater presentation is the focus here, so it’s best suited to situations where surface commotion is appropriate rather than deeper-water applications.
- The lure is designed to be worked with rod twitches or sweep motions, so it asks for an active retrieve instead of a simple steady crank.
- FLASH BOOST and SCALE BOOST add visual appeal, but they do not replace the need for proper cadence and placement to trigger strikes.
- At 2.75", it may be more specialized for bass-focused topwater use than for anglers looking for a more general-purpose lure.
