Overview
Built for 30 caliber rifles, this 180 grain bullet is intended for medium- to long-range hunting in cartridges with medium to large powder capacity. Its Spitzer Boat Tail profile is described as supporting a flat trajectory, reduced wind sensitivity, and strong energy delivery downrange, with good penetration and expansion at long range. The product information also notes match-grade accuracy from accurate hunting rifles and ease of loading with precise concentricity. It is presented as a solid option for hunters and long-range shooters who want a hunting bullet suited to larger 30 caliber cartridges, while noting that it is best used at maximum hunting velocities.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Designed for 30 caliber rifles with medium- to large-capacity cases, so it is not a universal fit across all .30-caliber loads.
- The 180 grain #2160 is described as best when fired at maximum hunting velocities, which may limit its appeal for lower-velocity applications.
- The product is a component bullet, so load data must be verified separately in a reloading manual or powder manufacturer resources.
- The description notes these bullets are considered too hard for most hunting applications in some contexts, so suitability depends on the specific use and velocity window.
