Overview
Built for Service Rifle competition in the M16A2/AR-15A2 platform, this 77 grain .22 caliber MatchKing bullet is intended for shooters who want a match-oriented option compatible with AR-15/M16 magazine loading. It is presented as a competition bullet with a long record of accuracy in that role, rather than as a general-purpose hunting projectile. The product information also notes that MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications, and that their design does not deliver the same explosive varmint expansion as lightly jacketed alternatives. For load development, the manufacturer directs users to consult a reloading manual or powder manufacturer data.
