Produced December 1917 (< production run). Barrel marked S&W DA .45 and UNITED STATES PROPERTY. Full Smith & Wesson Springfield Mass. address and patent dates on barrel. 5 1/2" barrel. Original-style walnut grips with lanyard ring. Cannot confirm if original.Condition: - Strong rifling in bore - Mechanically functional - Nick or ding in metal on left rear of frame - Finish wear and patina consistent with age and use - Grips show wear Includes half moon clips. No box or paperwork. This revolver has not been test fired and should be inspected by a licensed gunsmith prior to use.
