Overview

Smith & Wesson Model 29-2, chambered in the powerful .44 Magnum. Known as the most powerful production handgun at the time of its introduction, the 29-2 is highly sought after by collectors for its "pinned and recessed" features (pinned barrel and recessed cylinder chambers), which were discontinued in later models. This particular example is in very good condition. It features a 6" barrel and a polished blued finish. The action is smooth in both double- and single-action, with a crisp lockup and timed cylinder. The bore and rifling are clean and sharp. The finish shows minimal handling marks. The checkered walnut target grips are in great shape with no chips or cracks.
