Considerations & Trade-offs
- Designed as a topwater lure, so it is intended for surface presentations rather than deeper water applications.
- The compact 70 mm profile and 3/4 oz weight support precise casting, but that size may not suit anglers looking for a larger surface bait profile.
- Built around a Gamakatsu #5/0 double hook, which is suited to the lure’s design but offers a specific hook setup rather than a more customizable rigging option.
- Made to work from thick cover, so it is best matched to situations where a surface lure can be worked cleanly through that environment.
