Considerations & Trade-offs
- The included 100 free photo transmissions per month may be enough for light scouting, but heavier camera use will require a paid plan or more selective transmission settings.
- The camera requires a Class 10 microSD card sold separately, so it is not ready to deploy without that additional purchase.
- Power is not included; the FLEX-M2 runs on a LIT-22 rechargeable battery pack or 8 AA batteries, which adds another setup decision and ongoing battery management.
- Some features depend on the SPYPOINT mobile app and remote connectivity, so the camera is less useful in situations where cellular coverage or app access is limited.
