Overview
Built for anglers who want a versatile surface bait, this topwater lure can be worked to spit, dart, chug, or walk-the-dog depending on the retrieve. The weighted tail is designed to help with longer casts, while the loud rattle and teaser tail add extra attraction in the water. It suits situations where a single topwater presentation needs to cover different moods and conditions without changing lures.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- This is a topwater bait, so it is most relevant when fish are feeding near the surface and may be less useful in deeper presentations.
- The action is presentation-dependent: it can spit, dart, chug, or walk-the-dog, but getting the desired movement will depend on how it is worked.
- The loud rattle and teaser tail add attraction, which may be a plus in active conditions but can also make the bait more noticeable in very pressured or calm situations.
- The weighted tail is intended to help with longer casts, but that added weight is part of the lure’s design trade-off rather than a universal advantage in every setup.
