Considerations & Trade-offs
- Topwater presentation requires active rod-tip twitches and a rhythmic retrieve, so it’s less suited to a simple steady retrieve.
- The lure is offered in multiple sizes, including a smaller Jr. version, so choosing the right one depends on the conditions and target fish rather than a single all-purpose option.
- Treble hooks are part of the design, which can be effective for strikes but may require extra care when handling and unhooking fish.
