Overview
Designed for anglers who want to work a jerkbait deeper than standard models allow, this lure is built for controlled presentations in deeper water. Its sinking profile lets you count it down to the target depth before beginning a ripping retrieve, making it a practical choice when fishing with forward-facing sonar. The bait is described as maintaining the erratic action associated with the standard KVD 300 Deep Jerkbait while sinking at nearly 0.5 feet per second. For situations where depth control matters more than a traditional floating jerkbait approach, it offers a focused option without adding unnecessary complexity.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Designed for a sinking presentation, so it is less suited to shallow, fast-moving retrieves than a standard floating or suspending jerkbait.
- The nearly 0.5-feet-per-second sink rate means depth control depends on timing and line management rather than immediate running depth.
- Its intended use is more specialized, making it a narrower choice if you want one jerkbait to cover a wide range of presentations.
