Overview
Built for bass anglers who want a shad-style soft bait with a strong swimming action, this lure is suited to presentations where a natural profile and active tail movement matter. Its paddle tail is designed to produce a pronounced kick, while Strike King’s Perfect Plastic formulation gives it a soft, salty feel. The added coffee scent is intended to help mask human scent and oils, and the bait is offered in proven colors for use with a belly weighted hook or on an umbrella rig, including around grass.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The soft plastic formulation may require more careful handling than firmer baits, especially when rigging or storing with other tackle.
- Its paddle-tail action is designed for a specific shad-style presentation, so it is most relevant when that profile matches local forage and conditions.
- The lure is offered in a variety of proven colors, but the best choice will still depend on water clarity, light, and the rig you plan to use.
- It is described for use with a belly weighted hook or on an umbrella rig, so it may not be the most versatile option for every bass setup.
