Considerations & Trade-offs
- The bait is very soft and pliable, so it may not hold up as long as firmer plastics when used around repeated strikes or short strikes.
- Its heavily salted, scented profile is designed to encourage longer holds, but that also means it is more specialized than a plain, unscented soft plastic.
- The 5-inch size and shad profile are versatile, but presentation still depends on rigging choice; it is intended for weightless topwater, Carolina rigs, or jigheads rather than a single fixed setup.
- The Carolina Chrome finish is one color option, so matching local forage or water conditions may require selecting a different color in the line.
