Overview
Built for anglers who want a compact creature bait with broad rigging options, this 3.38-inch soft plastic is sized to cover a range of presentations without moving away from the Rage Bug profile. Its thin body is designed for easy worm-hook penetration, and the four appendages are intended to add action whether it is pitched around cover, punched through mats, skipped, or used as a trailer. The midsize format also makes sense when downsizing is the goal, especially in pressured water or shallow vegetation. Watermelon Red Flake gives it a classic look for situations where a subtler profile is preferred.

Pros
- Versatile profile supports casting, pitching, skipping, and trailer applications.

- Suitable for pitching around cover and punching mats.
- Four appendages provide an action-focused creature bait profile.
Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 3.38-inch midsize profile is a deliberate downsize, so anglers looking for a larger creature bait may find it less imposing than the original Rage Bug.
- Its thin body is designed for easy worm-hook penetration, which supports rigging flexibility but also means the bait is built around that style of presentation.
- The bait is positioned for a wide range of uses—pitching, skipping, trailer duty, and shallow-vegetation work—but each application may call for different rigging and retrieve choices.
- The flat profile and four appendages are part of the action design, but that also means the bait is more specialized than a simple straight-tail soft plastic.
