Considerations & Trade-offs
- At 3.38 inches, this midsize profile is a scaled-down version of the original Rage Bug, so anglers wanting a larger presentation may find it less suitable.
- The thin body is designed for easy worm-hook penetration, which is useful around cover but means rigging choice matters for getting the intended presentation.
- Its action comes from four appendages, so the lure is built around movement rather than a simple compact profile; that can be a trade-off if you prefer a more subtle bait.
- Green Pumpkin is a versatile color, but the product is also offered in 13 colors, so matching local conditions may require choosing a different option from the line.
