Overview
This 200-meter spool of Swiss military surplus communication wire is suited for practical line-running projects where a long, continuous length is useful. It is described as 22-gauge wire on an 8-inch diameter metal spool, with the full spool weighing 8.5 pounds. The wire is presented as surplus material previously used for communications lines between Swiss defensive fortifications, which gives it a utilitarian, field-oriented character. It may be a good fit for bunkers, shops, tree houses, or similar setups that call for straightforward communication wiring.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- This is a 200-meter surplus spool, so it is suited to longer runs; the full spool size and 8.5 lb weight may be more than needed for small projects.
- The wire is listed as 22-gauge, which is a practical detail to match against your intended use before purchase.
- It is sold as surplus communication wire, so the appeal is in the material and format rather than a broad set of application-specific features.
- The 8-inch metal spool is convenient for storage and dispensing, but it also adds bulk compared with wire sold in smaller packaging.
