SKU: titanstraps-bike-tie-down-kit
Built for carrying a bike or other gear on the front of a packraft, this strap kit is aimed at paddlers who need a simple way to secure bulky loads to bow tie-downs. It includes three 14-inch straps and one 25-inch strap, with the longer strap intended for the chainstays and rear wheel while the shorter straps handle the remaining attachment points. The setup guidance in the product details is specific to placing the bike on the bow with the fork to the right and facing the stern, and it notes that the front wheel can be secured separately with a webbing-style strap. The 25-inch strap also adds flexibility for lashing a rolled-up packraft when transitioning to the trail.

| Long Description | Heavy duty TitanStraps are perfect for strapping a bike or other gear to the front of your packraft. The kit includes three 14-inch and one 25-inch TitanStraps, which are custom selected for attaching a bike to the front of the Caribou. They work great on all our boats with bow tie downs though! We recommend placing the bike on the bow with the fork on the right and facing towards the stern, and the front wheel removed (rear wheel removal is optional). Use the 25-inch strap to secure the chainstays and the rear wheel, and the three 14-inch straps for the other attachment points. The front wheel can be secured with a webbing or similar strap. The 25-inch strap is also great for securing your rolled up packraft when you hit the trail. |
