Overview
Built for shooters who want a simple, portable ground layer, this mat helps create a cleaner, more comfortable setup on hard or damp terrain. The urethane coating adds a moisture barrier between you and the ground, while the padded elbow section is there to reduce discomfort during extended prone use. Four loop corners allow it to be staked down when conditions are windy, and its packable design makes it easy to carry in a pack or attach to exterior MOLLE webbing.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The mat is designed to be lightweight and packable, so it offers convenience, but it is not a full-size padded platform for extended comfort on rough ground.
- The 12" padded section provides elbow protection, yet the rest of the mat is focused on portability rather than broad cushioning.
- The urethane coating acts as a moisture barrier, but it does not eliminate the need to choose a dry or stable setup location.
- Four loop corners help with stake-down in windy conditions, though that depends on having suitable stakes and ground conditions.
