Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 6 MOA dot is a deliberate choice for faster acquisition, but it offers less precision than a smaller dot for fine aiming at distance.
- Battery life is listed at 9,500 hours on setting 6, so actual runtime will depend on brightness setting and use patterns.
- The Shield RMS mounting footprint means fitment depends on compatible slides or mounts; confirm compatibility before purchase.
- With unlimited eye relief and 1x magnification, this optic is built for close-range use rather than magnified shooting applications.
