Overview
Built for hunters and shooters who want a versatile optic for longer-range work, this 3-18x44 scope combines a first focal plane reticle with illumination to support holdovers and aiming across changing light and magnification. The RevStop Zero System and locking turrets are aimed at making adjustments straightforward while helping you return to your zero after dialing. A 34mm tube provides substantial elevation and windage travel, and the included throw lever supports quick magnification changes in the field. Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 3-18x magnification range is geared toward longer shots, so it is less suited to close-range, fast-moving targets than a lower-power optic.
- The exposed elevation turret is designed for quicker adjustments, but the capped windage turret means windage changes are less immediately accessible in the field.
- The 34mm tube supports substantial adjustment travel, but it also points to a larger scope profile than more compact hunting optics.
- The illuminated reticle and included battery add flexibility in low light, but they also introduce another setting and power source to manage.
