Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 1-6x magnification range is geared to close- to mid-range use, so it is less suited to longer-distance work than higher-magnification optics.
- As a second focal plane optic, the reticle’s subtensions are not maintained across all magnification settings.
- The illuminated reticle uses red LED illumination and a CR2032 battery, so illumination depends on battery availability and power management.
- At 19.5 oz, it is not the lightest option for a carbine setup.
